The Awkward Romance is a rock band out of Georgia who has accumulated a huge fan base through myspace. Based on numbers alone, I had to take a listen. Now, I'm very open about my fanship of Fallout Boy, and was looking for a band that has been compared to them. The comparison holds true. Like FB, these guys have witty song titles that will appeal to any high schooler who has ever read a book (20% of the demographic according to a recent census), and their music makes use of loops that will make your knee bounce. Major labels are looking for acts like The Awkward Romance right now, so get used to them.
