Has nobody else noticed that this is more accurately a combination of No More Kings, Karate Kid, Mr. Belding, AND the movie Raising Arizona. This video mimics the setting and characters of Raising Arizona to a T.

If you don't like the video or the song because it doesn't suit your tastes, that's fine. Myself, I didn't like it much. I found the lyrics far too repetetive for one thing. Also a bit more complexity in the music would have added a bit as well. I also thought the video took too long getting 'to the point' as it were. The guy in the Speedo was a bad idea. That hurt my eyes. That is of course just my opinion, nothing more.
One other opinion to offer though: simply denouncing something as 'gay' becsuse you don't like it is not really [i]saying[/i] anything; rather makes you come accross as a tad inarticulate. If you absolutely must criticise it's generally considered a good idea to do so in such a fashion that provides the target of the criticism with some valid points for improvement. Pointless vitriol is just that... pointless.

It always amazes me at the number of people who post the negative slams. That's easy. Anyone can say "I could do better than that".

But the reality is, that this is one of the most popular vids for a reason. Creativity = 10!

Personally, I think it is freekin hallarious, and very well done.

This was a completey rediculous video, but some how, I think that's what they were going for... The song was good, and it's one of those that will get stuck in your head for days, reguardless of how many diffrent methods you try to purge it... (Yellow Submarine didn't even work for this one...)

FYI - The character of Johnny skating around in the speedo is actually a reference to another of William Zabka's famous 1980's teen movie roles, the prima donna swim team member Chas in the Rodney Dangerfield classic movie "Back to School." Zabka's character Chas is the main antagonist to Dangerfield's son Jason in the movie, and he wore that same red speedo in the diving scenes.
