The Films
I was lucky enough to hear The Film's upcoming album, Don't Dance Rattlesnake early, and to see them live a few times. Now, I'm no psychic, but I put my money on these guys for breakout band of 2007. The group's upbeat attitude comes across with their wise-crack lyrics and crunchy guitars. Below are three songs from the upcoming album, along with two covers.

I actually heard about this band while playing Sims 2. Black Shoes was in "simlish".

I've been through this entire blog, and I have found lots of great music, but this band is my favorite of the blog, hands-down. If you like The Films, definitely check out "I'm Not Gonna Call You". I bought that song off of iTunes, and it's now may favorite tune from The Films.
