Nordic Nights
South By Southwest, Austin's week-long music/film/interactive festival, kicks off in less than two weeks. FreeIndie has been nominated for a SXSW web award in the music website category (we're up against the Dixie Chicks!), so we'll be making our way down south.
Anyway, our friends over at The Musebox will be throwing their popular Nordic Nights showcase again this year at SXSW. The event will span two days, and feature some of the strongest emerging acts from the Scandinavia area (thats Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland for the geographically inept). Below is the schedule, and an mp3 from each band. Catch the showcase at Uncle Flirty's, which is located at 325 E. Sixth St. Austin, TX

Do not miss Reykjavik! Without a doubt the best 'live band in a small venue' I have ever seen. A staple of Iceland Airwaves and an experience not to be missed! Enjoy!
Mammut also quality.
