What I love about Washington DC's Revival is the contrast between their soothing music and seething lyrics. The songs bask in tranquility until they are interrupted by depressing, existential anecdotes. This is they kind of band you unwind to after a tiring day at the office. Just make sure you're in a room with no sharp objects.
