Last summer, I featured Semi Precious Weapons, a spunky glam band from Brooklyn. Since then, they've been going strong with their unique take on rock and performance. Coincidentally, I met someone at SXSW who just wrapped up a documentary about them called "Magnetic Baby." The documentary will be released in segments as podcasts. I just watched the first episode on iTunes.

I really liked what I saw in the first 15 minutes. The lead singer has a unique personality and style that makes for good entertainment, and the filmmaking is perfect for what it is trying to achieve.
